  Malaysian companies involved in the business of water production, supply, and treatment can benefit from the Market Development Grant (MDG) from MATRADE by participating in LAOWATER 2020 – Laos’ Biggest International Water Industry Exhibition. LAOWATER 2020 will be held in the National Convention Centre, Vientiane from 11-13 June 2020.  
     
 
   

MARKET DEVELOPMENT GRANT
The Market Development Grant (MDG) is a financial support facility in the form of a reimbursable grant to assist Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Professional Service Providers, Trade and Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce and Professional Bodies in undertaking eligible export promotion activities. Visit http://www.matrade.gov.my/en/faq to learn more regarding the terms and conditions for this grant.

   
 
     
 

Claim up to RM25,000 for International Trade Fairs or Exhibition held in overseas
• The maximum ceiling amount for Malaysian SMEs, Professional Service Providers, Trade and Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Professional Bodies and Co-operatives increase from RM200,000 to RM300,000 per life time
• Eligible for Business to Business (B2B) events

Expenses covered:
• Participation fee or Booth rental
• Booth construction or Enhancement
• Air fare
• Public land transportation - bus, taxi or train from Malaysia to an ASEAN country destination only. (Does not include ground/intercity transportation within that ASEAN country destination).
